The NSE Nifty index traded 105.56 points down at 23602.35, while BSE Sensex was 398.31 points at 77800.8 as of 10:39AM(IST)on January 08.
In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.90 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.46 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent) were among the top gainers.
