Kamala Harris may face an obstacle on the road to White House. Everything is working in her favor. She has been endorsed by many of the Democrats, raised record amount of funds and the Republicans are in a state of disarray. There is one challenge though. This has been reported by The Hill.

Will the Americans accept a woman as their commander in chief? The Times/SAY 24 poll from the YouGov poll has indicated a sharp decline in the number of voters who support a woman as a presidential candidate in 2024 in comparison to 2015 when former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton was nominated as a presidential candidate by the Democrats.
As compared to 2015, there is a nine-percentage drop in terms of the voters who support women presidential candidates. 54% of the respondents said that they are willing to accept a woman as a president and 30% said they aren’t. In 2015, 63% of the voters were in favor of electing woman presidential nominees.
49% of them also feel that both Harris and Trump are qualified for the top job.
The same survey found that 77% of the Democrats felt that the country was ready to be ruled by a woman president. 37% of them felt that the country will not vote for a party that has a woman presidential nominee.
To counter this, 35% of the Democrats feel that Harris should pick a male
