Not UPenn or Georgetown, Barron Trump is heading to New York for college this fall
Barron Trump, the youngest child of Donald and Melania Trump, has decided to start his college career in New York this autumn, which is a big break from the Trump family's custom of going to Georgetown or the University of Pennsylvania. In an interview with the New York Post on August 20, 2024, the former president Donald Trump verified the information and said that Barron had chosen a «very good» school in New York. Trump did suggest that the information would be revealed shortly, but the precise institution is still unknown, as per the reports of Yahoo news.
Barron, who stands out as the tallest in his family, reaching between 6-foot-7, has maintained a low profile, especially in recent months. Unlike his other family members, he did not attend the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July, where his half-niece, Kai Trump, made an appearance and shared her decision to attend the University of Miami. This low visibility extends to his upcoming college move-in, a rite of passage for many families, as it is unclear if his parents, Donald and Melania Trump, will be present for this event. Whether Barron will reside on or off-campus is also still unknown.
