Hulu has found its first director to direct the pilot of an upcoming series titled ‘Chad Powers’. Tony Yacenda who is the creator of the Netflix series ‘American Vandal’ will bring his experience into directing this comedy series. He will also be the executive producer of this half-hour series which is based on Eli Manning’s sketch that was previously aired on ESPN+. This is a series which has been termed comical but also is a sports drama. The film is expected to begin its production in the city of Atlanta in the state of Georgia in the United States. Cast:
Glen Powell plays the character of Chad Powers, Steve Zahn plays the character of Jake Hudson, Perry Mattfeld plays the character of Ricky and finally Frankie A Rodriguez plays the character of Danny. Other actors will be cast as the production of the series begins.
Storyline:
Those who have taken up sports in their lifetime will know that it is often a game of ups and downs. However, it is important to maintain your composure when you suffer setbacks in the game. This does not happen to Russ Holiday who is a popular quarterback whose bad behavior ends his college career. To revive his career he disguises himself as a Chad Powers who is talented and affable. He moves to a struggling southern football team and tries to revive it. Will his talent be able to revive a failing football club? This will be known when the show is released.
